Friends

Friends are:

  • People you have a strong connection with
  • People who like spending time with each other
  • People who often share the same interests

Friends are great to have. You can spend time doing things together that you both enjoy, you can talk together and you can laugh together. Sometimes it can feel like it is hard to make friends and sort out problems with your friends though.

  • What do you think a friend is?
  • Trust is important with friends. What does this mean?
  • Choose one of your friends. Why are they a good friend to have?

Extension question

Sometimes you might need to spend time with people who you don’t want to be friends with. What can you do to tolerate them (or deal with them without getting angry or upset) if you are with them a lot? For example, you could try to ignore them.
